The issue of abortion has long been a subject of debate in Kansas. That dialogue has only intensified after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last month. In a referendum on Aug. 2, Kansas will be the first state in the nation to weigh in on abortion following that court decision.
