Kansas Bluegrass Association’s 34th Annual Winterfest Bluegrass Festival is February 16 and 17, 2024, at the lovely Wichita Marriott in Wichita, Kansas.

Performers include AJ Lee & Blue Summit, The Rick Faris Band, Midnight Hollow, Harman & Ruble Band, Pretend Friend, John Depew & Andrew Morris, the Taylor Martin Band, and the Boiler Room Boys. New this year is a Welcome Jam on Thursday evening, hosted by Evan and Grant of Pretend Friend. A structured slow jam kicks off Friday at 2pm, but many folks are already jamming in rooms and event area by then. Shows start at 6pm on Friday.

Pretend Friend will also be playing the After Party, on Friday, Feb. 16, at 10pm. $10 or festival ticket gets you into the After Party.

Saturday music workshops include mandolin, banjo, guitar, bass, songwriting and more! Saturday activities also include a kid-friendly workshop, a structured kid’s jam for all ages and a youth showcase, which is free for showcase participants. There will be an open mic Saturday hosted by Lovegrass Music Festival Association. We will be hosting a Saturday afternoon art and craft market from 1:00pm-6:00pm as well. Weekend vendors are Damm Music and Becky Drager Art.
Nearly around-the-clock bluegrass and old time jamming at all skill levels is also included with your ticket price.
