Amateur radio repeaters allow operators to expand the distance that mobile and handheld radio transceivers can be used to communicate with other operators. This presentation will give more detail as to what it takes to establish and operate a repeater. We will cover license requirements, the role of the station trustee and control operators, frequency coordination, and equipment maintenance.
