Overnight at the Museum
Ever wondered what happens inside the museum after the lights go out? Overnight at the Museum invites families to experience Exploration Place in a whole new way after hours, after bedtime and across the entire museum.
Inspired by the spirit of the beloved films of a similar name, this overnight adventure gives kids and parents the chance to explore the exhibit halls, take part in hands-on activities and make memories together in spaces usually only experienced during the day. Once the doors close to the public, the museum becomes yours to explore.
Great for families or friend groups (children must be accompanied by an adult, see details below)
Explore the museum exhibits, including the new Illusions exhibit that opens January 23
Compete in games and activities
Watch a movie in the Dome

And more!
Tents are welcome in several areas, depending on the availability of space. Air mattresses are welcome and highly encouraged! We’ll provide eye masks and earplugs for anyone who needs them. Wagons and carts will be available to help you move your gear through the museum.
