Hoyt Hillman is the President of theGreenWay Alliance of Wichita, a non-profit group that works for a network of parks, trails and greenways in the south-central Kansas area. Hillman has been working to create green spaces for decades.

Recently, Hillman says the GreenWay Alliance has  worked on the Andover Rail-Trail initiative, the Redbud Rail-Trail, and they're working with Historical Delano on a project on the west side of Wichita to tie in with the K&O Railroad along Zoo Boulevard. The goal is to turn this into a new trail called the Chisholm Trail Parkway that connects to other walking and biking paths in the city.

Listen to Hoyt Hillman share some of the reasons why he likes to bike and get outside.
