Sedgwick County Chief Deputy Election Commissioner Sandy Gritz said a candidate on the ballot from the city of Haysville did contact the election office for information about the recount process.

"We have had a request or two for information about how the procedure would work, but we haven't received any official request for a recount at this point," Gritz said Monday.

Interested candidates must request a recount by 5 p.m. Tuesday night.
