A new poll shows Kansans are leaning toward Donald Trump in the upcoming election, but the report also shows that they aren't satisfied with state politics in general.

The Docking Institute at Fort Hays State University asked 892 voting-age Kansans who they would vote for if the presidential election were held tomorrow: Thirty-nine percent said they'd vote for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, while 47 percent said Republican nominee Donald Trump, though neither candidate ranked very high in favoribility among likely voters.

In state politics, more than half of respondents say they’re dissatisfied with the Kansas Legislature. All 165 seats in the House and Senate are up for election next week.

However, the Kansas Supreme Court ranked high in satisfaction. A third of likely voters say they’ll vote ‘yes’ on Nov. 8 to retain all 5 justices on the ballot; the same percentage said they'll vote to retain at least some of the judges.
