Cars & Stars is the new release from Wayne Gottstine, known for his work with Kansas bands Split Lip Rayfield and Scroat Belly. We’ll hear music from this new effort as well as selections from Great Peacock’s Forever Better Worse.

Wednesday, January 13

Although LPs remained a strong format in 2020, many artists issued stand-alone singles throughout the year. We’ll hear some of those on this episode of the show, including selections from Jon Regen and Vehicles.

The 2020 release from Stick Men Owari, recorded in collaboration with Gary Husband, was captured in February 2020, just as the COVID-19 pandemic was taking hold. It finds the band in fine form, playing its unique version of progressive rock. We’ll hear selections from that release as well as music from Stick Men’s Markus Reuter’s Truce LP.
