Gov’t Mule will perform at Wave in an outdoor concert on Aug. 17 with opener Nikki Lane.

The group was formed in 1994 by Warren Haynes and Allen Woody, both members of the Allman Brothers Band at the time. It has become a top touring entity on the so-called jam band circuit since then.

The band played the Orpheum Theatre in October 2017.

The current lineup of Haynes, Matt Abts, Danny Louis and Jorgen Carlsson — Woody died in 2000 — is represented on the new live album and film Bring On The Music: Live at the Capitol Theatre, captured in Portsmouth, N.Y., during an April 2018 stand.

Tickets for the event go on sale June 21 at 11 a.m. Tickets are $35 for general admission seated; $45 for reserved seated, and $55 VIP standing room pit.
