George Thorogood & Odetta Birthdays

December 29/31

Crossroads wraps up the year with music from two artists born on the last day of the year – folk, blues and spirituals singer and Civil Rights activist Odetta, and blues rocker George Thorogood. We’ll highlight some of the blues music Odetta recorded, along with George Thorogood’s first hit, music from his latest solo album, and a House of Blues Special with him as a special guest in hour two.

Also music from newly-announced Rock Hall of Fame inductees Sister Rosetta Tharpe and Nina Simone, and new music from Mitch Woods, Peter Parcek, Duke Robillard, and Dee Dee Bridgewater.
