Plus another Monday Night at the Movies as Night Train teams up with Global Village and Strange Currency for music from and related to films (including a little surprise tonight from Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm!), and new music from the Brad Mehldau Trio, John Beasley, and Joey Alexander.

Night Train continues the October Latin Jazz feature tonight with an Antonio Carlos Jobim classic, Latin jazz versions of John Coltrane classics and more – plus birthday salutes to guitarist and former Dizzy Gillespie band member Ed Cherry, tenor saxophonist Harry Allen, and organist Mel Rhyne, best known for his work with guitar great Wes Montgomery – and new music from Bill Evans, Allen Toussaint, Charlie Hunter, Nels Cline and Steve Turre.
