This weekend fans, vendors and artists will converge on Century II to participate in the third annual Air Capital Comic Book Convention.
2015 has been a great year for local fans of all things geek, and this year’s Air Cap Comic-Con is proud of that.
Visitors at this year’s convention can participate in contests, in board game demos or cosplay, which is people dressing as characters from comic books, video games and movies.
There will also be panel discussions.
According to co-organizer Drew Woodworth, some of this year’s panels include Tom Scioli a comic book creator that has worked on Transformers vs G.I. Joe, and, "Andy Kuhn, he does a lot of stuff for like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and some Doctor Who comics, stuff like that."
Fans will also have the chance to engage with local venders.
The Air Capital Comic Book Convention will take place at Century II on Saturday, November 14 and Sunday, November 15. Tickets are $5 for individual days and $8 for both days.
