After receiving multiple calls from consumers with complaints about being scammed when attempting to buy a vehicle or boat from Craigslist, Sedgwick Comty's District Attorney’s Consumer Protection Division has issued a press releaseto help people spot scams.
The release includes two accounts from recent victims, tips on ways to recognize a scam and a list of tactics used in scams.
