But Grump, who lived up in his tower, did not!
Grump hated Christmas! The whole Christmas season!
‘Cause it wasn’t about him – I think that’s the reason.
Yes, I think what caused him to be such a Scrooge
May have been that his ego was two sizes too “yuge.”
Then he got an idea! An awful idea!
He said, “I’ll give Christmas a kick in the reah!
I’ll cut tax for the wealthy, I’ll cut funds for the poor!
I’ll spread fear through the land then I’ll spread even more,
I’ll threaten public ed, Medicaid, Medicare
And Social Security, then I’ll declare
Climate change is a hoax! I’ll put coal in their stockings
and coal in their air!
I’ll mock the disabled, laugh at Tiny Tim’s feet!
The whole world will bow down to me when I tweet!
I’ll stop all this seasonal joy around here
Eat a Tic Tac then grab Christmas by the reindeer!”

Grump’s threats could never stop their bells from ringing!
