Four people were killed over the weekend in Wichita in three separate incidents. Police have made one arrest and are asking for the public’s help in solving the other crimes.
Wichita Police say someone shot 62-year-old Houng Pham and her 23-year-old son, Cody Ha, inside their home on East Huntington.
Police say Pham’s daughter found the bodies when she came home late Saturday night.
A pizza delivery driver was also found shot to death inside the trunk of his car on Pagent Street Sunday morning.
Wichita Police Lt. Todd Ojile says Hasan Rahman made two deliveries on North Williamsburg Saturday night and never returned to the Pizza Hut restaurant where he worked. Co-workers searched for Rahman and found Pizza Hut property at the scene of his last delivery.
“This is out of the ordinary, and it’s strange, so we are looking at every angle as to why this happened and what occurred, and the same on Huntington," Ojile said in a press briefing Monday. "We still have a lot of answers that we need to get and we are still interviewing individuals."
Ojile says the murders happened about three blocks apart but so far, there’s no evidence of a connection.
The third incident involved domestic violence. Ojile says 25-year-old Bryena McQuitty was killed at a home on North Litchfield Sunday morning. Police arrested her boyfriend on a charge of second-degree murder.
