Released in 2019, All Encores is a compilation of three EPs that pianist and composer Nils Frahm had issued across the previous year. We’ll hear selections from that effort as well as music from the 1969 self-titled release from Kansas-born composer and experimental musician, Moondog.

Makaya McCraven's 'Universal Beings'

Tuesday, April 27

We’ll hear music from Universal Beings, the 2018 release from Chicago-based musician Makaya McCraven. The record includes guest appearances from bassist Dezron Douglas and harpist Brandee Younger. In 2020, Younger and Douglas released the album Force Majeure, recorded during live sessions from their New York apartment. Listen for music from that as well.

Katy Kirby's 'Cool Dry Place'

Wednesday, April 28

Cool Dry Place is the latest from Nashville-based singer-songwriter Katy Kirby. We’ll hear music from that effort as well as from Lael Neale’s Acquainted With Night.

We celebrate the birthday of Willie Nelson with music from throughout his career, including collaborations with Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Asleep At The Wheel, and more.

We’ll hear from May featured artists Kishi Bashi and Mia Doi Todd as well as new music from Sufjan Stevens, Six Organs of Admittance and from Todd Snider’s latest, First Agnostic Church of Hope and Wonder.
