"Last night I lay down my book and sunk into a deep sleep."
Yep. That's the sentence Fletcher received from Kathy and Ross, and it sent him on an emotional journey.
This episode also found Ross disagreeing with himself and arguing with Samuel Johnson. And Kathy picked on Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan, and actually said, "thunk."
It's no wonder. We're talking "strong verbs" and past participles, so a deep dive into sink/sank/sunk, and lay/laid vs. lie/lay is going to be interesting. Enjoy!
