The Deep End is the new album from Kansas band Eighty Proof Engine, we’ll hear music from that as well as from John Prine’s self-titled debut album, notable for the inclusion of songs such as “Sam Stone” and “Angel From Montgomery.”
Monday, August 27
We’ll hear selections from the latest by Australia’s Bloods. Titled Feelings the music recalls the classic sounds of Sleater Kinney as well as contemporary acts such as Courtney Barnett and Soccer Mommy. Plus music from Robert Plant’s Now and Zen.

Released in 2011 The Party Ain’t Over was the thirtieth studio album from rockabilly legend Wanda Jackson. Featuring contributions from members of My Morning Jacket, Afghan Whigs and produced by Jack White the collection finds Jackson covering songs by Bob Dylan, Amy Winehouse and Jimmie Rodgers.
