Marginalia: Kate Williams

Ivy Reynolds

Kate Williams is a self-described '90s kid. If you don’t believe her, a look at the pop culture references sprinkled throughout her new YA book, The Babysitters Coven, might convince you.

The book itself is the product of Williams making a “what if” joke about The Babysitters Club, a series she read and loved as a child.

Kate Williams recently joined me in-studio to talk about the book, pop culture, fashion, and so much more.

Here's our conversation:

Kate Williams will be in Wichita for a book launch for The Babysitters Coven on Tuesday, September 17 at Watermark Books & Cafe. The event begins at 6:00 p.m.

The Babysitters Coven by Kate Williams was published by Delacorte Press.
