Marginalia: Hank Green

Ashe Walker

For the last 11 years, Hank Green and his brother, John, have been making videos back and forth to each other on a YouTube channel called Vlogbrothers, which has over 3 million subscribers.

The success of Vlogbrothers has allowed Hank Green to create or co-create several projects including Crash Course videos, SciShow YouTube channel, and VidCon, the world’s largest conference celebrating online video.

The Washington Post has named him “one of America’s most popular science teachers.” And now he’s an author of fiction: An Absolutely Remarkable Thing. I would describe it, but frankly, I’m afraid of spoilers. So Hank agreed to do it when I spoke with him a few days ago.

An Absolutely Remarkable Thing: A Novel by Hank Green was published by Dutton.

Marginalia was produced at KMUW Wichita.

Engineers: Mark Statzer and Torin Andersen
