Crossroads kicks off its February feature with the music of The Staple Singers, including songs from the group, from the solo projects of Pops and Mavis Staples and a cover of one of Pops’ classic tunes with The Sojourners (whose album topped the Crossroads Best of 2013 list). Plus, a birthday salute to West Side blues legend, Magic Sam; music from artists with local and regional concerts in the coming week; and the latest from Cyril Neville, Eric Bibb, Harmonic Shah, Toronzo Cannon, Eddie Cotton and Guy Davis.
