Trying to find a cheap way to fund school
Every year it’s the same old “same old”
Inadequate minds with the inadequate-funding summertime blues
Governor Sam, gave all the money to the rich folks
Guess he figured school kids were an easy touch
Instead of greenbacks we’re stuck here with Brownbacks
And when it comes to paying the bills
Mmmm, those Brownbacks don’t help much
