The Crossroads February feature continues with music from Maple Blues Awards winners, nominees and performers (including Ben Racine), Blues Music Award nominees (John Primer, John Nemeth, Bobby Rush, Sugar Ray & the Bluetones) and music from New Orleans (Dirty Dozen Brass Band). Plus birthday salutes to Nina Simone, Smokey Robinson, and Corey Harris (featured in concert in hour two of the show), and the latest releases from Sharon Jones & the DapKings, and Erin Harpe.

Chris Heim produces and hosts Global Village, a nationally and internationally distributed world music show; the nightly jazz show Night Train, and Crossroads, KMUW’s twice-weekly blues and R&B show. Chris is also a critic and freelance writer whose work has appeared in the Chicago Tribune, Utne, Global Rhythm, Dirty Linen, and Option, among others.
