Allegiant Air Announces New Flights To Florida Panhandle

Eisenhower National Airport Facebook
Allegiant Air will expand its service from Wichita's Eisenhower Airport to the Florida Panhandle.

Allegiant Air will provide nonstop service between Wichita and Destin/Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

Wichita airport officials made the announcement Tuesday. They said service will be seasonal and operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays from June to late August.

Destin/Fort Walton Beach is in the Florida Panhandle. It is known for its beaches, fishing spots, resorts and parks.

Destin/Fort Walton Beach will become the fifth airport that Allegiant flies to from Wichita. Allegiant flies year-round to Las Vegas and Phoenix, and seasonally to Los Angeles and Orlando, Florida.

Allegiant is offering one-way fares as low as $59 to Destin/Fort Walton Beach, as long as the flight is purchased by Feb. 13.

Allegiant is the only airline at Wichita’s Eisenhower Airport that offers nonstop service to Florida.
