The last time we talked with Dr. John-Michael Watson, he was a long way from Kansas. A really long way. Watson was back in Kansas last month after spending nearly a year at the most remote place on earth.
He stopped by the KMUW studios to talk with news director Tom Shine about his time in Antarctica, why he’s going back there next fall and what it was like to watch the sun come up after living in total darkness for more than six months.
Also, Ricky Todd, Jr. is on a personal mission to preach to Wichita's homeless population. Todd shared his message with Beth Golay on this month’s En Route.
