Lots of music from Brazil this time in the Global Village. We mark the birthday of Brazilian born, US based pianist and composer Jovino Santos Neto with music from his own releases and also as a guest with mandolinist Mike Marshall and singer Sandy Cressman. Plus new Brazilian sounds from Ensemble Novo, Paul McCandless making a guest appearance with Brazilian singer Renato Braz on a forthcoming compilation, and a Brazilian flavored piece off the new album from Ladama.
