Marginalia: Emerging Poet Diana Arterian On 'Playing Monster :: Seiche'

Diana Arterian is the Spring 2020 Visiting Emerging Poet at Wichita State University. Her book, Playing Monster :: Seiche, is a book-length poem, a blending of two collections, tackling abuse by her father and anxiety about her mother's stalker.

I recently caught up with Arterian in her office on the campus of Wichita State University to visit about the book. Here's our conversation:

Diana Arterian will be reading for WSU's Writing Now, Reading Now series. The event will be Thursday, February 27 at the Ulrich Museum of Art on Wichita State's campus. A reception begins at 5:30 p.m. with the reading beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Playing Monster :: Seiche by Diana Arterian is published by 1913 Press.
