Wichitalks is an eclectic and insightful event series featuring lightning-fast, 5-minute talks with 20 slides auto-progressing every 15 seconds. We bring together passionate individuals and an active audience for an evening of diverse presentations. For this special NEA Big Read Edition of Wichitalks in partnership with KMUW and the Wichita Public Library, we invited presentations pertaining to the concept of generational identity to coincide with the themes in this year's NEA Big Read: Wichita book There There by Tommy Orange.

Pine Valley Christian Church is hosting the fundraiser for Camp Sunflower. The camp believes that all young people deserve and need supportive and affirming communities. That’s what the camp does by holding camps and retreats for LGBTQIA+ middle and high school youth. You can show your support for Camp Sunflower by attending the spaghetti supper! You can dine-in or carry-out. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are also available. Suggested donation is $15 ($7.50 for ages 10 and under) including dessert and beverage. Live music, Silent Auction, and a Raffle. Come for a GREAT cause and fun evening!
