The Promises And Pitfalls Of Pandemic Productivity

Many of us are obsessed with being productive. The pandemic hasn’t made it any different. At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, some of us vowed to make this time at home as productive as possible. 

Maybe you remember how it felt back then. We were going to clean our closets, learn a new language and get in shape. But an onslaught of Zoom meetings, a lack of childcare, an economic crisis and overall fatigue prevented us from being ourbest selves.  But is the hyper-productive model what our best selves should be? 

Is it time to reevaluate what productivity looks like? And is our obsession unhealthy? And what are the best ways for us to stay motivated?
