Wichita will once again be host to the nation’s top female bowlers.
In 2019 the United States Bowling Congress Women’s Championships will be held in the city. It will run April-June and is expected to generate around $14 million in economic impact for south-central Kansas.
The event was last held in Wichita in 2004.
The bid to bring the championship to Wichita was a collaboration between the city of Wichita, the Go Wichita Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Greater Wichita Sports Commission, and the Great Plains USBC Association.
