Kellogg In West Wichita To Be Closed Again This Weekend

Kansas Department of Transportation

Kellogg will close again this weekend in west Wichita as part of the continuing project at I-235.

Weather permitting, Kellogg will begin closing Friday around 5 p.m. in both directions under I-235. All lanes of I-235 over Kellogg will also be closed.

All lanes are scheduled to re-open before 6 a.m. Monday.

The closures will allow crews to install eight more steel beams for the northbound I-235 ramp to westbound Kellogg.

A similar closure is scheduled for the weekend of Feb. 2.

The $116 million project at Kellogg and I-235 began in November 2015. It is expected to be completed in the summer of 2019.
