Dress To Impress: Wichita Work Force Alliance Holds Annual 'Get Hired' Job Fair

Wichita's largest annual job fair will take place on Thursday at Intrust Bank Arena.

The Get Hired Job Fair will connect employers from across Kansas with veterans, military and general job seekers.

Angie Duntz with the Wichita Work Force Alliance says up to 70 employers will be there.

“There will be companies hiring from manufacturing to hourly jobs," Duntz says. "A couple of health care industries will be there, as well as Wichita Public Schools.”

While some employers will be handing out applications, Duntz says participants should dress ready for an interview.

"[Several employers] might be doing interviews on the spot, so you want to make sure you look over the list of employers that are going to be there and bring enough resumes to hand out to all of those employers that you are interested in," she says.

Employers are listed on line at workforce-ks.com.

Thursday's job fair at Intrust Bank Arena starts at 2 p.m. for military personnel, and at 2:30 p.m. for the general public.
