KMUW 5-Keg Brewery Crawl

Back in 2018, we had a 5K Run|Walk and had a lot of leftover medals. In the spirit of waste not/want not, we repurposed those medals and created the KMUW 5K(eg) Brewery Crawl. The medals are gone, and we got two good years in before the pandemic hit, and now it's back.

Join us for the KMUW 5K(eg) Brewery Crawl on Saturday, December 30, 2023

Ten local breweries are participating. Anyone who enters using the link below will qualify to win the grand prize: $100 worth of gift cards from all of the participating breweries.

Here's how it works. Stop by as many of these breweries as you can during their posted business hours on our map and buy a pint. Have the bartender sign your map to indicate that you've completed that leg of the race. If you need an early start for the "race", some open at 11:00 am. If you need a "relay" option, gather family and friends and form a team of sorts. It's a win-win. KMUW receives your $15 donation, and you get an excuse to take family and friends to local breweries.
(Must be at least 21-years-old to participate.)

Here's information on how to participate:

  • What: KMUW (Almost) Annual 5-Keg Brewery Crawl
  • When: Saturday, December 30
  • Time limit: 12:00 noon - 11:00 p.m. (Some breweries open at 11:00 a.m. for those who need an early start.)
  • Team Sign-up: To sign up for a team, sign up as individuals first, then simply identify your team members when you pick up your race packets.
  • Price: $15 per person (Must be at least 21-years-old to participate.)
  • Sign-up: Right here. 
  • Registration deadline: None. You can even pick up a map on the route and sign-up using the QR Code.
  • Packet Pick-Up: Download and print the map here.

Official Rules:

  1. Take your map to a least 5 of the 10 participating breweries.
  2. Buy a beverage at the brewery and the bartender will mark your map to show that you (or one of your team) completed that leg of the crawl.
  3. Once you have completed at least 5 legs, take a photo of your map and text it to (316) 208-3438 by December 31.
  4. Grand prize winner will be announced on January 2.
