The Jazz Corner
Can you guess which famous jazz artist was born on St. Patrick’s Day?  If you guessed Nat King Cole, you’re correct. We’ll celebrate the music of Nat King Cole on The Jazz Café, Wednesday, March 17.

In jazz news close to home, Michael Pagan, Kansas City jazz artist and the assistant director of jazz studies at the UMKC Conservatory, has a new album. We’re featuring “Three for the Ages” by Michael, bassist Bob Bowman and drummer Ray DiMarchi on The Jazz Café. Later this spring, Michael will be a guest on our Moonglow program. We’ll let you know when.
