Carl Kasell Drawing

Make your pledge to KMUW before Noon on Tuesday, April 6th and you will be entered to win a personal voice recording by Carl Kasell for your answering machine.  No pledge is necessary to enter the drawing. If you would like to be entered in the drawing please call KMUW at 316-978-6700. One contest entry per person is allowed.

1) PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Promotion ends at 12:00pm on Tuesday, April 6th. One voice recording by Carl Kasell will be awarded in a random drawing from among the eligible entries received to date. 

2) HOW TO ENTER: Anyone submitting a pledge for membership to KMUW, during the times listed above, is automatically entered in the drawing. To enter online, complete a pledge for membership to KMUW on the web at http://www.kmuw.org and submit electronically. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, late, or misdirected entries or for any computer, online, telephone, or human error or technical malfunctions that may occur. The use of any automated launching or entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits the participant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited. Incomplete or illegible entries are void. No pledge or financial commitment is required to enter.

3) WINNER SELECTION: One random drawing will be conducted on Tuesday, April 6th. No substitution of any prize is permitted. Need not be present to win. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

4) PRIZE: One personal voice recording by Carl Kasell for your answering machine. No residual cash value.  Reporting of the prize value ($89.10) to the IRS is the sole responsibility of winner.

5) ELIGIBILITY: KMUW’s Carl Kasell Drawing is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Void where prohibited. Employees of KMUW are not eligible to enter.

6) GENERAL CONDITIONS: KMUW’s Carl Kasell Drawing entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these official rules. The laws of the United States govern KMUW’s Carl Kasell Drawing rules. All Federal, State and Local laws and regulations apply.  Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use winner’s name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.  KMUW reserves the right to change the rules of this drawing at any time.

7) INTERNET: If for any reason the online component of KMUW’s Carl Kasell Drawing is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, “bugs,” tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of KMUW’s Carl Kasell Drawing, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend KMUW’s Carl Kasell Drawing. The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, internet service providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsors due to technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in KMUW’s Carl Kasell Drawing or downloading of any materials in KMUW’s Carl Kasell Drawing. Caution: any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of KMUW’s Carl Kasell Drawing is a violation of law and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages or other remedies from any such person(s) responsible for the attempt to the fullest extent permitted by law. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an E-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the E-mail address submitted at time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted E-mail address.

8) SPONSOR: The Sponsor of KMUW’s Orpheum Theatre 12-Month Passes Drawing is KMUW, licensed to Wichita State University.
