StoryCorps: Brandi Koskie and Shelton Koskie

This morning we continue our series of local conversations recorded when the StoryCorps mobile recording booth came through Wichita. Today we'll hear from Brandi Koskie and her husband, Shelton. When the young couple found out the only way they could have a baby was through in vitro fertilization, they decided to start a website that would allow others to follow their journey and to help out with the cost of the procedure. After years of warm wishes and donations from across the world, the Koskies finally raised enough money earlier this year to give IVF a try. They'll tell us about the day they found out whether or not all of the time and effort was really worth it.
