Sedgwick County H1N1 Vaccine Clinic offers Free Vaccines
Wed, December 02, 2009
The Sedgwick County H1N1 Vaccine Clinic will administer the free vaccine to anyone who wishes to be vaccinated. Health Protection Coordinator Janice McCoy says about 50 thousand people in Sedgwick County have been vaccinated since the first shipment of the vaccine arrived in October. McCoy says there's still about 80 percent of the community that is susceptible to this particular influenza virus, so there are still alot of people who still need to be vaccinated. Individuals with flu like symptoms will not be able to receive the vaccine and run the risk of infecting others with the flu. The Sedgwick County H1N1 Clinic located in the Wichita Mall on Harry street will be open from:Thursday from 2pm -7pm
Friday and Saturday from 9am-2pm
