Wichita Mayor Carl Brewer is scheduled to deliver his annual State of the City Address Tuesday evening.

The address comes just weeks after economic forecasters revised downward area job growth projections following Boeing’s announcement that they will cease operations in the city.

The address in city hall will be open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis, with over flow seating and a video monitor on the first floor. Attendees must pass through security and be seated before the start of the address.

Lauragail Locke, marketing director for the city of Wichita says those who cannot make it to City Hall have other options, like streaming the address live at wichita.gov.

“You can also watch the speech on City 7, that is Cox Cable channel 7,” says Locke, “we will also be putting parts of the speech on our City of Wichita Facebook page and on Twitter @cityofwichita.”

Mayor Brewer’s State of the City Address is scheduled to begin Tuesday at 6pm.
