Downtown Master Plan

The City of Wichita, the Wichita Downtown Planning Corporation, and a host of partners unveiled their draft Downtown Master Plan last month, after much public input.  Residents will have further opportunities to provide input in a series of eight public meetings this month.  KMUW’s Frank Dudgeon talks with Wichita Mayor Carl Brewer and Scott Knebel, Principal Planner, Advanced Plans Division.

The eight public meetings will all be at 7 P.M.  Here are the dates and places:

July 7 - Atwater Neighborhood City Hall, 2755 E. 19th Street

July 8 - Evergreen Library, 2601 N. Arkansas

July 12 - Haysville Public Library, 210 S. Hays

July 13 - Bel Aire City Hall, 7651 E. Central Park Avenue

July 14 - Derby City Hall, 611 Mulberry

July 19 - United Methodist Church, 330 N. Broadway (Meredith Hall)

July 20 - WSU Metroplex, 5015 E. 29th Street

July 21 - Sedgwick County Extension Office, 7001 W. 21st Street
