This Saturday the Augusta Historic Theater will host a pre-release screening of American Trabants, a short documentary film about the infamous East German car and some Americans who love them.


KMUW’s Chris Heim filed this report.


The Augusta Historic Theatre, 523 State Street, will offer screenings of American Trabants at 1, 2, 3 and 4 p.m. on Saturday August 7. Admission is $2. The two Trabants that call Kansas home will be on display in front of the Theatre and a car show is also slated for that day in downtown Augusta.
