Former professional baseball player, auctioneer, private detective, author of the successful memoir, Seemed Like A Good Idea at the Time, and contributor to the New York Times, Daily Beast and Deadspin, David Goodwillie, now turns his attention to fiction. Inspired by the social, technological and political currents running through - and at times unnerving - the country now, he offers a debut novel called American Subversive.

You can hear Sarah Bagby’s book reviews the second and fourth Mondays of every month on Morning Edition and find additional information about the books and authors reviewed here.
