Andrew Juby - Development Intern

Andrew Juby is a native of South Central Kansas, born in Wichita and raised in Hutchinson.

He went to the University of Kansas after graduating from Buhler High School in 2001.

He first fell in love with public radio listening to KCUR while delivering pizzas and sandwiches in Lawrence in the middle part of the 2000s. While his attempt at a degree from KU was unsuccessful, Andrew carried with him that enjoyment for public radio.

He started listening to KMUW while attending Hutchinson Community College in 2008. When he heard about the student intern position at KMUW after transferring to Wichita State, Andrew leaped at the opportunity. His favorite shows are Strange Currency, Science Friday, and Wait, Wait… Don’t Tell Me!

In his spare time, Andrew likes reading pretty much anything he can get his hands on, watching Doctor Who and clicking the “Random Article” button on Wikipedia.
