Sam Brownback Tuesday signed into law a bill that will create jobs for Kansans with disabilities.</p><p>House Bill 2453 will give preference for state contracts to businesses that meet specific criteria, including employing at least 20 percent of full-time workers in Kansas with disabilities.</p><p>Companies must also do the majority of their business in Kansas and pay at least 75 percent of the total health insurance premium cost for their employees.</p> Tue, 29 May 2012 14:00:00 +0000 Briana O’Higgins 2184 at http://kmuw.org
