Guitars for KidsBack to Events
It's the Sixth Annual Guitars for Kids House Party. The Artichoke, the Kansas Acoustic Arts Association and the Songwriters Circle have teamed up to raise money so we can provide instruments for area kids in need. In the past few years we've given away about seventy guitars to Judge Riddel's Boys Ranch, Salvation Army, Maude Carpenter's, Youthville and more.
All proceeds from Saturday's event will be spent on guitars, and we hope to reach even more recipients this year.
We will be selling a special CD, recorded at the Songwriters Circle and featuring 15 great original songs from local and regional artists. (The CDs are a bargain -- only $5 -- so you'll want to buy a couple extra as stocking stuffers!)
