When the Thyroid Goes Awry: Part II

About 14 million people in the U.S. suffer some type of thyroid disfunction, including many who may not be aware of their condition. Also, the thyroid can malfunction in several ways making the symptoms more difficult to identify. Dr. Joseph C. Meek returns to present the first talk in the Live & Learn lecture series for this year with a followup to last year's lecture on the thyroid.

Last year's lecture was very successful and Dr. Meek received many questions. This year he will expand on the answers.

Listen as Dr. Meek talks with KMUW's Frank Dudgeon about his upcoming talk, and about thyroid disorders.

Listen as KMUW's Carla Eckels speaks with thyroid specialist, Dr. Joseph C Meek, and one of his patients.

Listen to Dr. Joseph C. Meek deliver his second lecture on the thyroid.
