"Seeing is Believing: Keeping Your Vision for Life" is November's Live & Learn lecture at the KU School of Medicine-Wichita. As part of the lecture series, FM89 Wichita Public Radio will present a companion report on diseases and degenerations of the eye.

Perhaps the most sophisticated of the five human senses is the sense of sight. Often we take our eyesight for granted – until something goes wrong. Macular Degeneration, Cataracts, Glaucoma, Retinitis Pigmentosa are among the threats to seeing clearly. Diabetes can also have a significant impact on vision.
