You're invited to join us to find out more about the possibilities for

women age in a public lecture at the KU School of Medicine – Wichita
campus at 1010 N. Kansas, located at the 8th/9th Street exit on I-135.
You may bring a sack lunch to the lecture. Snacks and/or dessert
and beverages will be provided. Registrations are requested by

Dr. Outwater will also be featured in news reports by Wichita Public
Radio's Carla Eckels and Frank Dudgeon. They'll prepare
interviews and news reports on this topic during Morning Edition on
April 10thand 11th.
Dr. Outwater is a Northeasterner by birth; she has been in the Midwest
since 1986 when she completed her undergraduate studies at Creighton
University. She attended Emporia State University for her Pre-Med
and Clinical Psychology studies. Dr. Outwater has been on the
faculty at Wesley Family Medicine Residency since 2003. She
received the 2006 Exemplary Teacher of the Year award in the full-time

Next month's lecture topic will be presented on May 9, with a
discussion called "Breathing Easy: Allergies and Asthma," with Dr. Tom
Rosenberg. And, our series concludes on June 13 with Dr. Susan
Carr telling us "You're Only as Old as You Feel."
This marks the third year of the collaboration, which began as part of
the national Sound Partners for Community Health grant program, in
2003. The previous lectures and radio reports can be found on
Wichita Public Radio's website at www.kmuw.org. The audio from each topic covered in the new series will be added to the website following each lecture.
