Everyone is going to die, but few of us are willing to think about it. We tend to fight death as an adversary rather than embracing it as a natural part of life. Unfortunately, many Americans pay a price for this in both physical and emotional suffering.

On October 2nd during Morning Edition KMUW aired a report on preparing for the end of life. Later that morning, Dr. Anne Egbert, from the KU School of Medicine-Wichita presented a Live and Learn Lecture, titled "Graceful Exits - Preparing for the end of life."
