year. Cancer is not a new disease - it has existed throughout human history. But
over the past thirty years, medical science has made great strides in treating
the disease. As part of KMUW's year-long series, "Chronic Illness, Acute
Answers," Sam Hendren reports on cancer treatment and prevention efforts in
